GETTING ON THE ROAD

Hit the crystal clear waters of the Portugal coast in this two-week road trip to the country's best surf spots.

You'll join a group of instructors who will take you to their favourite spots along the coast and give you detailed and intimate coaching. The aim is to improve your surf skills—you'll even analyse videos of yourself surfing to hone your technique.

When you're not on the water, you can enjoy the beautiful sightseeing, have a BBQ with your retreat mates, lounge on the beach, or whatever else you like! It's adventure-filled to the brim with surf, sun, and loads of fun, explore a bit more the country, make new friends and surf to the max.

Like many other countries, Portugal has three main areas that we call North, Center and South. Amongst many similarities, they also differ in many ways, given to each site its way of life, culture, gastronomy, lifestyle.

FIRST, LET'S HEAD NORTH.

In the first part of the journey, we head North for a 4-night stay in the Porto area. We will enjoy the northerners lifestyle, culture not to mention the soul-fulfilling food. The coast has its distinctive beauty and, in our opinion, some outstanding seascape. After settling down, unpack and explore the area, we will hit the waves and have our first three surf lessons. In between the lessons, we will organise a trip to Porto to get to know a bit more about Portugals Northern Capital, explore the area around our accommodation and enjoy the amenities. Before we hit the road, we will try something different, water rafting (optional). A fantastic experience that you will remember forever.

MAGIKVANILLA

BACK TO SOME MAGIK DAYS.

After those well spent nights in the North, we head to the Center, to Magikvanilla Surf Camp, in Ericeira. Our home away from home.

This fisherman's village has a fantastic coastline; therefore, exploring it is a must-do. You will find eight different beaches where you can sunbathe, fall asleep to the relaxing sound of the waves. Have a meal with a sea view or toast to the sunset and another well-spent day. If you enjoy walking or biking, there are a few off-road tracks that you can use to get to know the village and its surrounding areas. There are a few rent-a-bike shops that also have scooters available.

Here you have the most incredible blend of tradition and excitement. You can find that in the narrow cobbled streets - quirky houses, traditional and modern restaurants, serving the most delicious food. Cafes, bakeries, shops, markets and warm-hearted people will keep you coming back for more. During the next 4-days, we will have three more surf lessons to get you ready for the next and final stage of this memorable surf trip.

BACK TO HOME SWEET HOME IN TIME TO PARTY.

Once we get back to Magikvanilla, it's time for the Halloween Party, so don't forget to pack your costume before you travel.

The Party not only celebrates Halloween but the end of the 2021 Surf Season at Magikvanilla.

As we all know how sometimes parties can be, we left the departure day open, so either choosing to go the next day or the day after, it is up to you when you think it's best to say: See you next season.

BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN, THIS TIME SOUTH HERE WE GO

Heading South has always been one of our favourite trips in Portugal. The landscape changes, and the 12 Km bridge crossing is when you genuinely feel that your journey started. The journey south takes you through the coastal path, passing by the small villages that have been part of the Portuguese people's summer holidays. The roads are narrow and full of natural beauty. Once we settle on our destination and after a well-deserved rest, we will be ready for three days of sun, fun and free surf. These three days, you won't have lessons, but you will be able to surf alongside your instructors. It is the time to get that last boost of confidence so you can start enjoying surfing on your own. We will organise a trip to a water park (optional) or local town sightseeing on our last day south.

We will organise activities to bring a ton of memories from this holiday experience during our stay. Water rafting, a sightseeing visit through Porto, a Waterpark day to let the kid in you go wild, etc. these aren't included and are optional.

This package's price doesn't include Air Fairs (Airline Tickets); Meals (apart from the four included), any other extras or activities you don't find on the inclusions.
